Growers pay $20. for the season for a single space. Payable by check, cash or credit card.
Tents are not required and vendors supply their own tents.

Hours and Days of Operation

  • Market opens June 7, 2012.
  • The market will be operating every Thursday
  • Vendors may begin setting up at 3:00 pm
  • Vendors may begin selling at 4:00 pm
  • SWOOM closes at 8:00 pm
    All vendors will break down at the same time unless prior arrangements have been made with the market manager (

Vendor descriptions

Because type of product and cultural practices are important to some customers, vendors should identify those products that do not qualify as organic or naturally grown. The market expects members to truthfully represent their products and operations.

Produce (vegetable, fruit, flowers)

Naturally or organically grown vegetables or fruit. Flowers may be organically or naturally grown. Certification is not required, but vendors should present all information to customers regarding growing methods. All produce must be grown by the farmer. Farmers may not resale produce from produce companies or farms.

Bake goods & Prepared foods

Natural and organic products unadulterated by artificial additives, sweeteners, colorings, and preservatives.
Bakery and prepared food vendors should be able to provide a complete ingredient list for each product.


Each vendor may set their own prices. Prices should be set in keeping with customer satisfaction and consideration of other market vendors.
All vendors selling by the pound must use a scale certified by the Georgia Department of Agriculture. Scale certifications are available free of charge by the Department.

Loading and Unloading of Vehicles

Vendors may locate their vehicle in the driveway of Atwood Community Gardens to unload. All vehicles must be parked on the street after unloading.

Vendor Set-up

Vendors are responsible for their own tables, tents, money and materials. Canopies, tents and umbrellas shall always be safely secured from unexpected weather events.
It is the responsibility of individual vendors to maintain a clean and healthful condition within their assigned area and to leave that area free of debris. Vendors must clean their space of any debris or trash prior to leaving the market.
Vendors must post pricing for all items. Products should be displayed in an attractive manner.
All vendors selling by the pound must use a scale.

Inclement Weather Conditions:


If a vendor cannot participate in the market any week, the vendor is required to notify the market manager via e-mail the Wednesday evening prior to Saturday at the latest as to their inability to attend the market for that week.
